- Measure revenue per send + per subscriber, not list size, large lists with bad quality hurt deliverability and revenue both
- Run quarterly list hygiene (remove unengaged 90+ days), cleaner smaller list outperforms bigger dirty one on every metric
- Suppress hard bounces immediately, continuing to send to them signals spammer behavior to mailbox providers
